Limerick Racecourse today confirmed singer Paddy Casey is set to perform live after racing on their second summer evening meeting on Friday June 18.
With a Number One triple platinum selling album "Living" and a string of hit singles, including "Saints and Sinners" and "The Lucky One" and "Bend Down Low", it has been an important year for Paddy Casey.
He recently scooped the Best Irish Male award at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards as well as becoming the first Irish artist to have a number one selling album in 2004.
"I've always had good fun playing in Limerick, it will be good to finally play outdoors. If I was a betting man I would say first string breaks on the second song," joked Casey.
Tickets are available at Ticketmaster, Peter Clohessy’s Bar in Limerick and from the Racecourse Office.
