Pop superstar Prince has been named in a $1m (€700,000) lawsuit after allegedly failing to pay computer goods worth $12,000 (€8,400).
Ian Lewis filed a the lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, claiming the 'Purple Rain' hitmaker breached a contract by taking "several hard drives used for video production" and not paying for them.
He further claims the singer returned a loaned $25,000 (€17,500) computer "in a broken and un-fixable condition."
Lewis is seeking $1m (€700,000) damages.
A spokesman for Prince was unavailable for comment.
