The Late Late show had two unexpected guests last night called Bridget and Eamon

Everyone’s favourite dysfunctional 80’s couple made an unexpected appearance on The Late Late show last night much to the delight of everyone in the audience.

Bridget and Eamon, who are launching their new show on February 1, briefly commandeered the show from seats in the audience with their own unique style of humour.

The pair had Ryan Tubridy chuckling in his chair as they jokingly called him ‘Uncle Gaybo’ and discussed the various elements of that show that they liked -and also the bits they disliked.

To finish if off Bridget read a poem to the audience, which was short and full of sweetly read criticism.

That Tubridy fella must have a good sense of humour, as he supplied most of the jokes for the night, but it was all in good humour!

We are looking forward to their show, which kicks off on February 1 on RTE2 at 10pm.

Have the tae ready!
