Huntingdon’s meeting tomorrow could be threatened by snow and officials at the track will hold a precautionary inspection at 7.30am.

Clerk of the course Fiona Needham said: “We have a light covering of snow this morning but the sun is out and it is melting and if we were racing today we would be raceable.

“We have no frost in the ground but we are forecast further snow through the night. It’s a case of wait and see and we will be holding a precautionary inspection at 7.30 in the morning.”
