Ryanair boss MIchael O'Leary could save the taxpayer €20million on the Government jet if his offer to negotiate a purchase deal is accepted.
Mr. O'Leary told the Sunday Tribune newspaper that he would act as a 'go-between' for the Government in securing a cheaper deal on a jet, with boeing as one of the companies biggest customers.
He says he would be happy to do it of the Taoiseach agreed claiming it would act as another low cost transport solution from Ryanair.
