Ulster Bank has today announced the appointment of Patrick Farrell to the position of head of private banking.
The creation of this new role is part of Ulster Bank’s new private offering, a specialist day to day banking service to the Republic of Ireland, targeted at individuals earning more than €145,000 or those with access to savings worth at least €200,000.
Farrell joined Ulster Bank Retail in April 2006, as head of product management and has held a number of senior roles at the firm, including head of retail strategy and marketing and most recently as head of commercial marketing.
Speaking about the appointment Stephen Cruise, head of financial planning and private, said: “Patrick has a wealth of experience which will be hugely valuable to our private banking customers and to the Retail Markets division as a whole. I wish him all the best in his new role.”
