Sporting back up to fourth

UCD 1 Sporting Fingal 2

UCD 1 Sporting Fingal 2

Kenny Browne's first goal for Sporting Fingal proved a vital winner as they moved back up to fourth place in the table.

Central defender Browne headed home from Ronan Finn's ball into the area for what proved the winner six minutes into the second half.

Conan Byrne's stunning shot from outside the box on 27 minutes put Sporting ahead against his former club.

But UCD were well in the game in the first half and deservedly levelled on 39 minutes when Ciaran Kilduff punished some defensive dithering to flick home.
