Cruz denies love split rumours
Penelope Cruz has denied her romance with Tom Cruise is on the rocks and said they would both love to appear together on screen again.
The 28-year-old has been living with Cruise at his Beverly Hills home since he split from his wife of 10 years Nicole Kidman.
Cruz returns to Spain several times a year but told The Mail on Sunday's You magazine that she was not back home to cry on her mother's shoulder.
"Those rumours (about a split) are not true. Just as the rumours about me being pregnant are not true, or the rumours about us being engaged or married."
But the sultry actress admitted the situation with Kidman and the two children the Australian star adopted with Cruise required a certain amount of diplomacy.
"There are no bad feelings in that area," she said. "But of course it is a sensitive topic, we have to be careful and very respectful."
Cruz admitted she loved children but did not feel ready to have any of her own just yet.
On the subject of working together again, she said both she and Cruise would love to "if the right script comes along and the characters fit."
