Down 0-09 Antrim 3-13

Antrim were too good for near neighbours Down in today's Division 1B game at Portaferry.

A Michael Herron goal on 14 minutes, helped the Saffrons into a 1-09 to 0-05 half-time lead.

Further strikes from Darren Quinn and Johnny McIntosh in the second half, left the decision in little doubt.

Simon Wilson (0-04) and Stephen Clarke (0-04), but Herron's haul of 1-05 proved crucial in Antrim's first win of the campaign.
