Supermodel Naomi Campbell and Hollywood actor Harrison Ford are among the stars lined up to speak to philosophy students at Trinity College in coming weeks.
The Philosophy Society has also invited campaigner Heather Mills, Naked Gun star Leslie Nielsen and former Spanish prime minister Jose Maria Aznar.
Campbell, who was once briefly engaged to U2 bassist Adam Clayton, is due to appear at Trinity next month.
The guests usually deliver an address and then field questions from members of “the Phil”.
Last year saw Al Pacino, Joanna Lumley and Michael Portillo tread the famous Trinity cobblestones to attend the student-run event.
Oscar-winning British actressHelen Mirren is due to speak to the Society tomorrow.
Philosophical Society president Ruth Faller said: “We always try to get big names because it raises the profile of the Society.
“It takes a lot of time phoning and emailing publicists around the world, but it’s all worth it in the end if they agree.”
Mirren is best known for her performance as Queen Elizabeth II in the 2006 film, The Queen which won her the 2007 Academy Award for Best Actress.
She has starred in many films, including Caligula, Gosford Park, and Calendar Girls.
She is also an accomplished stage actor while her TV career has netted four Emmy awards, most recently last month for her role in Prime Suspect: The Final Act.
