Another celebrity exits jungle show

Joey Essex was the public’s surprise choice to leave 'I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' as he joined model Amy Willerton as the latest contestants to be voted out of the jungle.

'The Only Way Is Essex' star was odds-on favourite with bookmakers to win the show but lost out in a double eviction with the beauty queen.

Essex, who stunned fellow campmates after claiming he did not know how to blow his nose or tell the time, told presenters Ant and Dec his jungle experience was “like being in school”.

“Honestly you learn so much,” he said. “I’ve learnt more in there than I would in like three years.”

Asked what his favourite lesson had been during the show, Essex replied: “Just to cope by yourself around loads of people you’ve never met before.”

The reality TV star admitted he still did not know how to blow his nose and described his time on the show as “creepy sick”.

“I’ve had the best time ever,” he added. “It’s been the most amazing experience ever. It’s proper, proper a jungle.

“I came in the jungle to face my fears and I feel like I accomplished that. I wanted to give everything a go and I did.”

Following her eviction, Willerton she would “never accomplish” the achievements of Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington who was famously left in tears in the jungle after telling the model she made her ”insecure”.

“I wanted to tell her – Becky, I think every woman in her life has not felt beautiful,” Willerton said.

“When I was at school I had acne, I had braces, I had glasses. I know exactly what it feels like.

“The most important thing in this life is being a good person. It’s not about what you look like.

“Ok, I have a career where I use my looks. But you know what, at the end of the day, I suppose that’s only limited and after that I’m going to have to do something else.

“I want to show people that I have substance and I have a brain.”

Earlier in the show, relationships hit rock bottom in the camp after 'Emmerdale' actress Lucy Pargeter accused Willerton of posing for the cameras.

Pargeter told the model: “They are getting great shots of you’re a**e”.

Willerton replied “Are they?” and Pargeter told her: “Of course they are - you’ve got a bikini on and you’ve got your a**e to the camera.”

Pargeter now remains in the jungle with fashion designer David Emanuel and former Westlife singer Kian
