Officials at Ludlow will stage an 8.30am inspection on Monday ahead of that afternoon's fixture.
The course was hit by sub-zero temperatures on Friday night and with more cold weather forecast, clerk of the course Bob Davies has decided to take a look at conditions on raceday.
Davies said: "It was raceable today and the worst areas of the track are covered.
"It went to -2.5C overnight but at the moment you just can't rely on the forecast.
"It's forecast to be cloudy, cold and dry with a daytime temperature of 2C and night temperatures of -2C. It's just a case of what turns up.
"We have dried up a bit and we're now good to soft, good in places which helps as the drier the ground, the less frost you get in the ground."
