Comedian Vic Reeves appeared in court today to admit driving his vintage Jaguar while over the drink-drive limit.
The 46-year-old ploughed his vintage Mark 2 car into a stationary Peugeot 106 in Maidstone, Kent, on March 25.
Reeves – real name Jim Moir – stood with his hands clasped behind his back at Maidstone Magistrates Court as the charge against him was put.
A further charge of leaving the scene of the accident near his home was adjourned until another hearing at the same court on April 21 following legal argument.
Reeves’s wife, 30-year-old Nancy Sorrell, was at the hearing to see Reeves, dressed in a suit and with bleached-blonde hair, enter his plea.
