Former Beatles star Paul McCartney and his model wife Heather Mills have persuaded all their friends to donate items for a charity internet auction in aid of the global landmine crisis.
The couple have pledged their support for the Adopt-a-minefield auction on www.charityfolks.com, and have secured donations from celebrities including Sting, Coldplay and Shania Twain.
McCartney's ex-bandmate Ringo Starr has offered a signed drum skin and music legend Sting has signed a bass guitar.
The website went online yesterday.
