Tough guy Liotta afraid of lifts
Hollywood hardman Rat Liotta plays the tough guy on the big screen - but in real-life the actor is scared of lifts.
The Goodfellas star's phobia began seven years ago when he got stuck in a lift with fellow actors Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro.
"I started to ventilate," said Liotta.
Liotta, who has avoided lifts ever since the incident, confesses he could not be more different from this movie characters.
"The people I grew up with find it amusing that I play tough guys," he said.
