Staff and management from a Co Wicklow bookbinding firm are due to attend talks at the Labour Relations Commission today in an effort to resolve a dispute over redundancy.

Fourteen workers have been staging a sit-in at Reilly Bookbinders for the past two weeks in protest at the way they have been treated by the company.

Management is planning to close the firm and outsource its operations to Europe.

Last week, the employees unanimously rejected an offer of just over €1,000 each and vowed to maintain their protest until a decent redundancy package is agreed.
