Small bombs exploded today in at least four places in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, injuring at least 12 people, according to police.

Police spokesman General Ajirawit Suphanaphesat said on the iTV television network that police were inspecting six other locations where there were suspicious packages.

He said there were at least a dozen people injured, but could only confirm one death.
