Ryanair's monthly traffic rises by more than a quarter

Ryanair has seen its traffic grow by 28% in its customer and load factor statistics for March.

Ryanair has seen its traffic grow by 28% in its customer and load factor statistics for March.

The figures show that its traffic went up to 6.67m customers for the month, meaning that its rolling annual traffic to March grew 11% to 90.5m customers.

The budget airline also revealed that its load factor increased 10% points to 90%.

Ryanair Chief Marketing Officer, Kenny Jacobs said: "Ryanair’s March traffic grew thanks to our lower fares, our stronger forward booking strategy and the continuing success of our “Always Getting Better” customer programme.

"With our new routes, increased frequencies and Business Plus service, customers can now look forward to further service enhancements, as we roll out the 2nd year of our AGB programme in 2015, which includes a new website and app, new cabin interiors, new crew uniforms and inflight menus, reduced airport fees, and great new digital features such as ‘hold the fare’, destination content and fare comparison services."
