Late kung-fu legend Bruce Lee will be honoured on what would have been his 65th birthday with a bronze statue in Hong Kong this November.
Fans have long complained about Hong Kong's lack of permanent tribute to the martial arts movie star. It was in Hong Kong where Lee grew up and recorded most of his films.
Finally fans' wishes have been granted, and the statue of the Enter The Dragon star - who was recently named Chinese Film's Bright Star of the Century - will be located on the city's own Walk of Fame, the Avenue of Stars.
Wong Yiu-Keung, chairman of the Hong Kong-based Bruce Lee Club, says: "We should continue to remember him because he not only contributed to our movie industry, but also raised outsiders' awareness of Hong Kong."
Lee died in 1973 at the age of 32.
