A British military helicopter crashed in the Czech Republic today, killing six British soldiers.

A British military helicopter crashed in the Czech Republic today, killing six British soldiers.

The helicopter crashed 1pm (12pm Irish time) near Namest nad Oslavou, 112 miles south-east of Prague, said Czech defence ministry spokesman Andrej Cirtek.

The soldiers were taking part in a Czech-British military exercise dubbed Flying Rhino.
