Eight children died and eight were injured when a wall collapsed at a religious school in Pakistan.

Eight children died and eight were injured when a wall collapsed at a religious school in Pakistan.

It followed heavy rains in the south-western city of Quetta.

The children were reciting verses from the Muslim holy book, the Koran, when the accident happened a few hours after a thunder storm, police said.

The dead included six girls and two boys. A teacher also died.
