Two police officers and three other people have been released on bail after being questioned about allegations of drug-dealing.
Derbyshire Police said five other people, including three other police officers, are still being questioned about alleged possession and supply of drugs in the county.
A police spokesman said two Derbyshire officers - including one seconded to the elite National Crime Squad - were among the five people who had been released.
Both officers freed on bail have been suspended from duty, the spokesman said, adding: "The five people who remain in custody will be questioned further during the day."
