Battle has begun for quarter-final places in Ladies Football Championship

It is week two of the TG4 Ladies Football Championship, with last week's winning teams bidding for another victory that would secure a place in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals.

In Group 1, Mayo take on Kerry while Waterford face Dublin.

Last weekend, Mayo dispatched the Deise by 14 points, while Kerry lost by three to Dublin.

Group 4 sees Down face Kildare in Newcastle, Co Down at 3.30pm Sunday, while today at 5pm in Clones Armagh take on Meath.

Laois are one of those sides aiming for a last eight spot already.

Having dispatched Tyrone last weekend in Group 3 they are now gunning for Sligo in Clones in a live TV showdown on Saturday.

Cork will progress from Group 2 if they beat Monaghan in Crettyard.
