Vital Equine is a non-runner for this afternoon's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot.

Although the ground on the round course is currently soft, Eoghan O'Neill's 2000 Guineas runner-up was taken out on account of the going.

Eight runners are now set to go to post for the Group One following Nannina's withdrawal, also due to the ground.
