Drogheda manager Paul Doolin is looking to sign a goalkeeper before next week’s Setanta Sports Cup semi-final against Linfield.
First choice goalkeeper Dan Connor is suspended and back-up Charlie Treacy is extremely doubtful for the encounter with a groin problem forcing Doolin to look at bringing in an emergency replacement.
Doolin said: “It could be a problem. Dan is out and Charlie has been out with a groin injury.
“We can sign any unemployed goalkeeper and we’re looking all over at the moment. The rules say we can sign anyone who is not currently employed and we’re looking at getting somebody in.”
