London Irish back Mike Catt and Sale Sharks forward Chris Jones have been added to the Barbarian squad which will take on New Zealand at Twickenham on December 4.

The pair are two of nine internationals already confirmed for the game with the other including Wallabies trio Lote Tuqiri, Clyde Rathbone, Mat Rogers, Phil Waugh and Springboks Os Du Randt and Brent Russell.

Saracens and France back Thomas Castaignede completes the nine.

Barbarians coach Bob Dwyer said: “Both teams will be strong and the opportunity for them to play at Twickenham is something we will be looking forward to.

“There are many excellent stadiums in the world of rugby but in my view Twickenham, right now, is second to none.

“I’m delighted with the players who have signed up so far. All are excellent and to see players like Mike Catt, Chris Jones, Clyde Rathbone, Brent Russell and Lote Tuqiri playing in the same side is an exciting prospect.”
