Byrne back to face Biarritz

Leinster's most-capped player Shane Byrne returns to the front-row for the Irish team's Heineken Cup clash with Biarritz on Saturday.

Leinster's most-capped player Shane Byrne returns to the front-row for the Irish team's Heineken Cup clash with Biarritz on Saturday.

Byrne replaces hooker Peter Smyth, one of two changes from the side which let a 17-point lead slip in the 34-34 draw against Edinburgh Reivers last Friday.

Ireland winger Denis Hickie is also absent with a hand injury, so Peter McKenna takes over on the right-wing.

Leinster must avoid defeat to qualify for the quarter-finals.
