Eoin Brosnan is an injury doubt for Kerry ahead of tomorrow week's All-Ireland SFC final against Dublin at Croke Park.
The three-time All-Ireland winner turned on his ankle in training last night and left Fitzgerald Stadium on crutches.
However, Kingdom boss Jack O'Connor says Brosnan has not been ruled out of contention yet.
"We'll give him every chance (to play)," said O'Connor, speaking at Kerry's pre-All-Ireland final media event today.
"We'll possibly know towards the end of next week. He has been an important player for us this year and it would be a pity if he missed out. We'll wait and see."
Looking ahead to the clash with the Dubs, O'Connor expects a fast-paced start from both sides.
"I'm expecting the game to be frantic early on, with huge pace and intensity in it," he commented.
"Obviously Dublin are a fairly athletic team. I think they'll try to test our athleticism early on, so it will be a big test of our fellas to stick that pace and that's where the challenge is."
Dublin came up against a tough, physical and defensive challenge from Donegal last time out. O'Connor says that Kerry's style should allow for a different type of game.
"Our style is pretty much an attacking style," he added.
"Even if we try to be ultra defensive I don't think our fans would let us get away with that type of stuff. We'll play our own normal game and it will be a good contrasting style.
"While Donegal were very defensive, I think Dublin were quite defensive as well in the game the last day. I think there will be contrasting styles the next day."
