Lindsay Lohan has taken the drastic measure of marking her money after discovering a close friend had been stealing her cash.

Lindsay Lohan has taken the drastic measure of marking her money after discovering a close friend had been stealing her cash.

The actress-turned-singer is struggling with trust issues after a secret she confided in a pal was splashed across a newspaper days later.

She tells PageSix.com: "I've been marking my money lately because I had a friend who was stealing from me. I recently ended a close friendship because of stuff that was getting out.

"Sometimes, I'll tell people in my life something completely out of this world - that could never be true - and then I'll see it in the tabloids. That's how you find out who you can trust."

Earlier this month, Lohan's Los Angeles house was raided while she was in New York. The thief took $10,000 worth of electronics.
