Huge cave troll to promote Lord Of The Rings in New Zealand
An eight metre high cave troll is to stand outside a New Zealand cinema.
The troll, specially created to help promote the first Lord Of The Rings film, will be outside the Embassy Theatre in Wellington.
It will appear on the balcony outside the cinema in time for the film's Australasian premiere on December 19.
The troll is eight-and-a-half metre high troll weighs one-and-a-half tonnes and has been made by the company that produced the special effects for The Fellowship of the Ring.
On the night of the film's premiere, New Zealand band The Muttonbirds will play on the balcony entertaining the public before the film's stars arrive, reports www.stuff.co.nz.
The Fellowship of the Ring opens in the UK on December 19 and will have its world premiere in London on December 10.
