Housemates become cavemates for stone-age capers

Amy, Jonty and Kara-Louise have joined Amanda and Sam to face eviction from the Big Brother house on Friday.

The twin girls were already up for the public vote following their request to be classed as one housemate this week. They made their nominations together in the diary room and will share status and money if they win.

As a condition, they will also both face eviction this week as one housemate.

The other housemates nominated individually as normal.

It is Kara-Louise’s second eviction nomination – she was also nominated last week. This week she received six nominations.

It is the first time Jonty and Amy have been up for the chop on the Channel 4 reality show, with five nominations each.

Earlier, Liam, Sam, Amy and Amanda donned Stone Age “cavemate” costumes and entered a room with cave paintings and dinosaur noises as part of the housemates’ “time machine” task.

They attempted prehistoric tasks including making a contraption for transporting mammoth dung and gutting and skinning animals. They also had to use wood to make a fire which burned for at least five seconds.

The twins were not impressed.

“Skin animals?” Amanda said, “What? That’s disgusting!”

Sam put her hands over her face, saying: “Oh my God, it’s actually real.”

Amy thought it wasn’t real, but then added: “Just pretend it’s not.”

Putting the task in a modern perspective, Amy said: “Now I know how it must feel to put in breast implants.”
