Irish boyband Jedward to host festive music TV special, it was revealed today.
The twins – John and Edward – will be presenting 'Christmas With The Jedwards Top 50' on VH1 and after filming the festive special they have come up with a unique idea to replace the traditional tree.
The boys – who dress up as trees on the programme - said: "Christmas trees were so last year, this year it's all about getting someone to dress up in a Christmas tree costume and stand in your house for a month.”
Jedward appeared in 'Celebrity Big Brother' this year and as well as their satellite show the boys want to take over the world of reality TV.
Edward – who shot to fame with John as contestants on 'The X Factor' in 2009 – recently said: "John and I want to take over the reality TV world. We've done 'X Factor', we've done 'Celebrity Big Brother', now we need to do 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'Dancing On Ice' and 'I'm A Celebrity'. We want to Jedwardise every show!"
'Christmas With The Jedwards Top 50' will be broadcast on the satellite music channel on Saturday November 19 at 12pm on VH1.
