Baby joy for Adam Sandler
Comedian Adam Sandler has become a dad.
His wife Jackie and the couple’s first child are both healthy, according to a message on Sandler’s website.
People magazine reported that the baby was a girl, and was born on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Under the headline “Sandler had a kid!!” the website says: “Kid is healthy!! Wife is healthy!!“.
Sandler, 39, married model and actress Jackie, 31, in 2003.
She appeared briefly in his 1999 film Big Daddy.
Sandler, a former Saturday Night Live regular, also starred in The Wedding Singer.
