Kelly Rowland can be too "bossy" for love
The 'Down for Whatever' singer admits she has ruined dates with her determination to be in control at all times and thinks she needs to learn to let men be "gentlemen" and look after her.
She said: "The desire to be in control and decide everything myself as much as possible gets in the way of things.
"The fact that I can act a little bossy has ruined quite a few dates. I choose the restaurant, I open the door myself, sometimes I'll even pay the bill. I really have to learn to let a man be a gentleman.
"That's probably one of the reasons why I'm single. I get in the way of myself when it comes to men."
However, Kelly is in no hurry to settle down as people's attitudes have changed and she no longer sees 30 as an age to settle down.
She added in an interview with Britain's HELLO! magazine: "We're no longer in the fifties. At 30 I am still very young and still have a lot of time to settle down. I love to go dancing and partying, I live and pretend to be forever young."
