Jedward are to perform for the ‘Big Brother’ house next week.
The Irish twins, John and Edward Grimes, have been booked by producers to sing on the reality show during the live eviction on Friday.
The pop pair will play tracks from their debut album ‘Planet Jedward’ to the housemates.
The 18-year-old duo told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "We're extremely honoured to be the first people in the show's history to go into the ‘Big Brother’ house to do a performance.
"We're so excited to get in there and see the housemates face to face."
Jedward, who shot to fame on ‘The X Factor’, are the latest star names to enter the house in a bid by bosses to boost ratings.
‘Pineapple Dance Studios’ star Andrew Stone worked with the housemates earlier this week to create a music video for the ‘BB High’ task.
A show source said: “Love them or hate them, Jedward are hilarious to watch and they’re bound to boost the ratings.
“As it’s the last series, producers are doing everything they can to make the Friday night shows unmissable – and with the twins performing, this week’s eviction will be just that.”
