France evacuates personnel from Iraq

A small contingent of French diplomats have been ordered out of Iraq, French diplomatic sources said today.

A small contingent of French diplomats have been ordered out of Iraq, French diplomatic sources said today.

Less than 10 diplomats who are posted to France’s section at the Romanian embassy in Baghdad will leave Iraq in the next 24 hours, they said.

The Romanians left the Iraqi capital three or four days ago.
