Dubawi is on course to put his unbeaten record on the line in the Group One Dunnes Stores National Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday week.

Rated by trainer Saeed bin Suroor as the best of a very strong team of Godolphin two-year-olds, the son of the ill-fated Dubai Millennium has won both his starts to date, including a Group Three contest at Newmarket in July.

“The target for Dubawi is the National Stakes,” bin Suroor said today. “He worked today. Frankie rode him and he worked with Divine Task over six furlongs and he worked really well.”
