At least 10 people were killed today in a train crash in north-eastern France close to the border with Luxembourg.

At least 10 people were killed today in a train crash in north-eastern France close to the border with Luxembourg.

The regional express train crashed shortly before noon local time.

Nine of those killed were aboard the train, said authorities for the Lorraine region.
