Iranian soccer fans are set to stage a mini-invasion of Dublin for next weekend's soccer international.
Over 200 Iranian fans have applied for visas to come to Dublin for next weekend's first leg - although it's not known how many will be successful in their application. The fans will begin to arrive on Wednesday when the national team touches down in Dublin.
Meanwhile, Irish fans jetting to Tehran are being warned that they could be arrested if they stock up on duty free. It's expected that once Irish fans touchdown, they will be searched and as the possession of alcohol is an offence under Islamic law they face the prospect of being arrested.
