Pro-democratic parties in Serbia have reached a power-sharing deal to form a new government and see off the threat of radical ultranationalists, media reports said today.

Pro-democratic parties in Serbia have reached a power-sharing deal to form a new government and see off the threat of radical ultranationalists, media reports said today.

The private Beta and B-92 radio stations said the deal, reached between pro-Western President Boris Tadic and caretaker Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, included the replacement of a hard-line nationalist in the influential post of the parliament speaker.
