Early reports suggest it struck debris on the line from a landslide between Moy and Culloden.

However, the driver of the train was able to walk to a nearby road and raise the alarm.

Nine people, including the driver and eight passengers are believed to have been slightly injured.

Fire brigades, ambulances and rescue crew are at the scene.

Another train has been sent to the scene to pick up the remaining 94 passengers.
