Reports from Pakistan are claiming that thousands of Afghans are fleeing their country once more.

Reports from Pakistan are claiming that thousands of Afghans are fleeing their country once more.

A UN spokeswoman said that nearly 5000 have arrived at a border town and many more are on their way from Kandahar.

It is unknown why there is a fresh exodus but Assistant Secretary of Defence at the Pentagon, Victoria Clark says that a huge aid campaign is underway.

So far 114,000 tonnes of food has been supplied and they aim to perform nine million vaccinations.
