Leinster council chiefs have expressed their concern over the number of championship games being shown live on TV and the impact on attendances.

A recent Leinster triple header at Croke Park only took in 17,142 and the fear is that this weekends clashes involving Kildare and Longford and Laois and Offaly, both live on TV, will suffer the similar fates.

Leinster chairman Nicky Brennan said: "Television is making it very easy for people to look out the window at the sky and decide to watch the match at home on the television."
