Sheeran: BRIT Award will take pride of place next to Lego toy

Ed Sheeran is going to put his BRIT Awards next to his other most prized possession - a 'Star Wars' Lego toy.

The 21-year-old singer/songwriter left the ceremony on Tuesday night with the British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough statuettes and he plans to place them next to a Millennium Falcon spaceship he made from the tiny plastic bricks.

He said: "I still don't have a house but I do have a flat I share with my brother. My BRITs are going to go on the mantelpiece along with my Lego Millennium Falcon, which is there at the moment."

The 'Lego House' hitmaker is not going to let success go to his head and is already working hard on his second album.

Ed has hinted many of the tracks are about a painful break-up he endured, but he hopes his heartache will inspire a great record, just like Adele's songs about lost love on her worldwide smash hit '21'.

In an interview with the Daily Star newspaper, he said: "I've already written a large part of the next album. It's going to have a bigger sound and will be more guitar based.

"I'll probably end up doing an Adele. I cam out of a four-year relationship so maybe I'll write the whole album about the break-up and sell as many copies as she does!"
