Sutton out at St Andrews
Chris Sutton has had his Birmingham contract terminated early by mutual consent.
The 33-year-old former Celtic striker was signed on a short-term deal during the January transfer window but saw his time at St Andrews hit by injury.
The former Norwich, Chelsea and Blackburn forward made 11 appearances for Birmingham, scoring once in the 3-1 derby defeat to Aston Villa in mid-April.
Sutton’s deal was due to expire at the end of June but was ended early by mutual consent.
