Queen’s Park Rangers are set to snap up Shamrock Rovers’ star Paddy McCourt during the summer transfer window.
The English Championship outfit have been keeping tabs on the 21-year-old since he joined Rovers from Rochdale during the winter.
QPR manager Ian Holloway was in Dalymount Park last Friday to watch the midfielder as he scored a hat-trick in a 3-2 victory.
Holloway is set to make the Northern Ireland Under 21 international one of his key signings and Shamrock Rovers’ manager Roddy Collins has no doubt that McCourt is good enough for QPR.
“Paddy McCourt can perform at any level. QPR were there to see him and I don’t blame them. He is absolutely sensational," said Collins.
