It now appears that Connacht out-half Paul Warwick has more than a fighting chance of recovering in time to meet Munster in Saturday’s Celtic League clash at The Sportsground.

He is rated at 60/40 to be match fit. This would prevent Eric Elwood from coming out of retirement for this one-off occasion.

Tom Tierney (groin) and Christian Short (ankle) are also injury concerns and Andrew Gallagher and Conor O’Loughlin have been added as cover in a 24-man squad.
