Aging movie star and hopeful Californian incumbent Arnold Schawarzenegger has friends in all the right places.

His "Red Heat" co-star James Belushi is helping the actor raise money for his campaign to run for Governor of California by charging businessmen to meet him.

Belushi has helped arrange a $1000-a-head fundraising party, but fans of "The Terminator" will have to pay an extra $9000 (€€8000) if they actually want to meet the big guy, according to imdb.com.

"I'm not paying anything. I'm paying for the coffee and the desserts and stuff. I love Arnold. I think he's very smart, very liberal. I'm a Democrat and I like Arnold. He's got great ideas and I think he'll give California a great new energy. He'll redefine the state," says Belushi.
