Holden: Husband my 'rock in a storm'

Amanda Holden feels closer than ever to her husband following the tragic loss of their baby.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge – who lost her second child with husband Chris Hughes when she was seven months pregnant – admitted her partner has been her "rock in a storm" and she feels lucky to be married to him.

She said: "I couldn't be any closer to my husband right now. He always was my best friend. It's such a cliché, but he is my rock in a storm and I love him to bits.

"He's also handsome, which is a bonus. I've never gone out with handsome people before, and now I'm married to someone who is really fit! I look at him and think, I can't believe I'm going out with you."

Despite their nine-year relationship feeling "really new and fresh", Amanda admitted the couple don't opt for date nights or sexy underwear.

She added to OK! magazine: "We always say our relationship feels really new and fresh, even after nine years. We don't do date night, I don't wear matching underwear every day and we don't read romance tips.

"But it still feels like we've just met, which is lovely."
