Serena Williams advanced to her third Wimbledon semi-final after staging a superb comeback against Jennifer Capriati.
Williams lost the first set 6-2 but took the next two 6-2 6-3 and said: “It was definitely tough, I knew she plays very well and I hadn’t beaten her yet on grass.
“I had to come back, I wanted to go to three sets at least.”
Williams won the Australian Open at the start of the year and reached the semi-finals of the French Open and added: “It’s very exciting.
“It’s really good results, three semi-finals. I have no nerves, I’ve been in this position so many times.”
